Before connecting a contacts-only application or CardDAV sync adapter, open Contacts → Mobile & app connections, create a Contacts-only client password for that app or device, and copy the value when displayed. For an app that also connects to LightDrive email, you may instead create an Email & contacts password under Settings → Security → App & device access.

Replace USERNAME with the LightDrive ID exactly as registered. Your main Vault password, Vault app passwords, and Email-only passwords do not authenticate to CardDAV.
The Vault Contacts app creates and edits this address book. LightDrive Email reads it for recipient lookup but does not write contact changes back to it.
