14.6 LightDrive Terminology

LightDrive ID: Your permanent account username and the local part of your @lightdrive.one email address.
Vault: The signed-in LightDrive service at vault.lightdrive.one.
Recovery email: An outside address used for verification, account recovery, and important notices.
Vault quota: The plan’s allowance for active files stored in the Vault. Mailbox storage is separate.
Vault app password: A separately revocable credential for Files, Calendar, or another compatible Vault client. It does not authenticate to Email or Contacts.
Email client password: A separately revocable credential required by external LightDrive IMAP and authenticated SMTP clients. Choose Email & contacts to permit the same credential to authenticate to CardDAV, or Email only to limit it to mail.
Contacts-only client password: A separately revocable credential limited to the LightDrive CardDAV address book. Create it under Contacts → Mobile & app connections.
CalDAV: The synchronization protocol used for calendars.
CardDAV: The synchronization protocol used for contacts.
OPDS: A catalog protocol that lets an external ebook reader browse and download the Books ebook shelf.
Soft-deleted: An access-disabled account held for an applicable restoration or deletion process.
